Magis Zambia is a Jesuit Youth Movement that is under Jesuit Youth Ministry of the Zambia-Malawi Province. Magis Zambia has three main pillars and that is 1. Spirituality 2. Companionship and 3. Service. Magis Zambia currently has branches or groups in different Jesuit Parishes in Zambia namely Magis Chikuni Parish, Magis Bwacha Parish, Magis Chelston Parish, Magis Matero and Magis Copper-belt University Chaplaincy.

Inspired by the works of the Jesuits in Zambia and touched by the life of St. Ignatius desiring for the MAGIS ( MORE ), the Youths are happy to be part of Magis and have worked hard over the years expanding Magis Zambia. Embracing the desires to work closely with the Youths the Jesuit Zambia-Malawi Province added Youth Ministry as part of it's key Strategic Apostolic Goals 2016 to 2021 with Magis being part of the various works in Jesuit Youth Ministry of the Province. The Youths of St. Ignatius Parish were inspired and motivated to launch Magis St. Ignatius Parish on 9 July 2017.

On 9 July 2017 various Youths of St. Ignatius Parish worked together and organized themselves in different groups performing different tasks. They set up an information desk, they set up an electronic display of videos and photos about the various Ignatian Programs they had in Poland and others from various Magis activities. They also set up a desk giving for various Ignatian content such as the Posters of St. Ignatius, Magis hoodies, Magis T-shirts, Ignatian Publications, Posters with Ignatian Quotes and other materials. This was a great Display and Exhibition of various content to the various parishioners of St. Ignatius Parish, Zambia. The sharing of life changing Magis Experiences touched many and many people registered to be part of Magis St. Ignatius Parish.

The Launched was finalized by the Youth Mass with the Youths saying the Ignatian Prayers and committing themselves to service during mass.
